Aleksei Ivashkin

Born in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, in 1982.

В 2001 году окончил Высший колледж связи по специальности «телекоммуникационные системы», в 2004 году – Белорусский государственный университет информатики и радиоэлектроники по специальности «телекоммуникационные системы», в 2012 году – Академию управления при Президенте Республики Беларусь по специальности «экономика и управление на предприятии промышленности».

In 2001 graduated from the Higher Telecom College with a degree in Telecommunication Systems, in 2004 - the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics with a degree in Telecommunication Systems, in 2012 - the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus with a degree in Economics and management at industry enterprise.

He began his career in 2003, being a 5th year university student, as a specialist, information security engineer of the information support department of the production private unitary enterprise "Svetoch" in Minsk. After graduating from the university in 2004, he was hired as the 2nd category engineer in the Department of Television, Radio Communications and Radio Broadcasting of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, in 2006 he was transferred to the position of the 1st category specialist in the Department of Television, Radio Communications and Radio Broadcasting of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus. In January 2007, he was hired by the republican unitary enterprise for the supervision of telecommunications "BelGIE" in the technical department as a lead engineer. From 2007 to 2009 – head of the sector of international legal protection of radio frequencies. From 2009 to 2015, head of the external relations department, from 2015 to 2019 - head of the fixed service and international radio frequency protection department, from January 2019 - head of the international cooperation department, from March 2020 - head of the international cooperation department.

He was appointed as the director of the Republican unitary enterprise for supervision on telecommunications "BelGIE" on April 30, 2020, by Order of the Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan.

He manages the activities of the Republican unitary enterprise for supervision on telecommunications "BelGIE" on the basis of the Charter. Carries out general management of the enterprise and conducts issues of the State Commission on Radio Frequencies under the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus; Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization; economics and finance; accounting and reporting; personnel policy; legal support; international cooperation; organization of anti-corruption activities; organizing the protection of state secrets; mobilization training, military registration and booking; other issues referred to his competence by the legislation, decisions of the Minister of Communications and Informatization and his deputies.
