MAJOR TASKS OF STATE SUPERVISION FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
  • Ensuring of the protection of radio-frequency spectrum and its effective utilization
  • Assignment of radio frequencies and radiofrequency channels
  • Ensuring of electromagnetic compatibility of the radio electronic facilities (REFs) and/or high-frequency devices
  • Monitoring of observance of the prescribed requirements to development, production, designing, construction (installation), realization, obtaining, exploitation and import into the territory of the Republic of Belarus of REFs and/or high-frequency devices by legal entities and natural persons
  • Monitoring of radio-frequency spectrum
  • State supervision for Telecommunications
  • Monitoring of REFs and/or high-frequency devices emissions


    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF STATE SUPERVISION FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
  • Implementation of the registration and recording of REFs and/or high-frequency devices which are the sources of electromagnetic emission
  • Assignment of radio frequencies and radiofrequency channels
  • International coordination of the radiofrequency assignments
  • Issuing of the permissions for the citizens and/or legal entities in accordance with the list of the administrative procedures established by legislation
  • Execution of works to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of REFs, high-frequency devices and monitoring of their usage
  • Execution of the measurements of the technical characteristics of REFs, high-frequency devices and telecommunications networks
  • Implementation of State supervision for:
         - Performance of the requirements and the conditions of the special permissions (licenses) for the activity in the telecommunications field by the telecommunications operators
         - Observance of the established norms on the parameters of emission, rules of usage of REFs and/or high-frequency devices
         - Designing, construction of the telecommunications networks, systems and installations and construction (installation) of REFs and/or high-frequency devices
         - Utilization of the radiofrequency spectrum
         - Legality of the connection of REFs, telecommunications systems of the legal entities and natural persons to the telecommunications networks for general use
         - Accomplishment the necessary requirements of the technical statutory legal acts in the field of the technical regulation and standardization to be observed
  • Execution of the other functions according to the legislation
